artist bio
Elizabeth Tobin Rodriguez is an Artist and Teaching Artist in central Virginia. After receiving a Bachelors Degree and Teacher's License in Fine Arts from James Madison University in 2006 she began her career as an art educator, working with grades k-5 in a public elementary school. In spring of 2012 she earned a Masters in Art Education degree from Boston University. Elizabeth recently began working as a freelance teaching artist at local arts organizations and schools in Charlottesville, Virginia. In addition to teaching and creating art she also enjoys traveling, live music, reading and spending time with her husband and two rescue cats.

Elizabeth's work is inspired by a love of nature, travel and vintage materials and styles. She enjoys being about to tell the stories of different places and times through her art and helping others to share their unique stories.
